There's always been a mystery overshadowing young Zoey's life,  and then one day she discovers she has the ability to travel back in time through the power of music. Before long, Zoey embarks upon a magical journey into a fantastical musical world that transforms each time she returns, bringing her closer to uncovering secrets about her family and things about herself she never believed were possible.

"The Practice Room" weaves history and music into a fun ride that takes the reader and Zoey back and forth between worlds and settings as varied as a Los Angeles rock concert in 2002, Harlem in the 1930s, Woodstock in 1969, the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989.
